On the original coupes these slats diverted the airflow around the windshield to the rear bubble scoops for better brake-cooling. I liked the classic look of these slats so I designed stainless steel brackes to fit the Type 65 body. The brackets are made from 18-gauge stainless steel; the clear slats are formed by Bill Hough, the man that shaped the lines on the Type 65 body. Kit also include all stainless steel hardware and rubber bracket to body gaskets.
