When you first saw a Cobra? | Can't even remember as I have been dreaming for years. |
How long have you been dreaming to have one? | Since at least early nineties |
Why did you build the Car? | I had previously restored a couple of old Mustangs, and decided to build the Cobra to satisfy my need for muscle (FFR for the modern 5.0 drivetrain) and Jeanie' desire for a small two seat sports car. (Jeanie always wanted and Alfa spyder). You couldn't ask for a better compromise. |
Estimated Completion Time? | 250 hours including the old Al Solomko based two steps forward one step back approach to life. |

Description? | Basic FFR with 3:55 gears, FFR upper/lower rear control arms, halibrand 15" wheels., carbon fiber dash, stereo, c/d player with remote; Engine - new with Cobra lower/Explorer upper intake, 65 mm tb, 73 mm mass air, e303 cam, gt40 iron heads, flowmaster headers, 190 lph pump, 24lb injectors, underdrive pulleys, braided stainless fuel lines in engine bay. |
